Ages 5 - 8 (grades 1 - 3), Sundays 10:30am - 11:15am

Tiny Creators

This class give young students the chance to try it all! Tiny Creators explores the basic concepts of theatre and musical theatre. We use a lot of imagination work, some scripted work as well as a bit of singing and dancing. Our staff and group of excellent student teacher volunteers ensure that all students are able to participate at their own level and increase skills as the classes progress.

Theatre

Tuesdays 7:30 - 8:30pm

Theatre exploration continues, making sure that students start to develop their acting instincts through improv, scripted work, theatre games and monologue work. A focus on dynamic delivery and creativity are at play here. We also dabble in writing our own scripts when the interest is keen.

Musical Theatre

Sundays, 12:15 - 1:15pm

All the above, but now we add singing and dancing to the mix. At this level we add in the option for singing solo as well as continued work in groups.

Additional Information

Classes are built to accommodate those new-to-theatre and the seasoned performer*. All classes have a planned family & friends drop in day during each semester. The larger June showcase combines all classes and features the best of what each class explored during their time together. This is an excellent opportunity for younger students to see what is possible with their theatre practice and gives older students the experience of a larger audience.

*Previous experience is recommended for our Advanced Ensemble class
